My SAB Sample-Vintage Labels

This is one of my favorite cards....I love the color combo used here. I used the New In-Colors Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay.

This card uses one of the Sale-A-Bration sets that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase....the Vintage Labels set. I used the NEW clear mount set so I could stamp the "For You" in the middle of the scallop circle image without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. I dry embossed the Bermuda Bay piece using the Seeing Spots Class Brass Plate.

Items used for this project include: Seeing Spots Classy Brass Plate (#107412), Scalloped Circle Punch (#109043), Dimensionals (#104430), Paper Piercing Tool (#116631) & Mat Pack (#105826), Empressor Stylus Tool (#100716) , Soft Suede (#115318), Whisper White (#100730), & Bermuda Bay (115317) CS; Soft Suede (#115657) & Bermuda Bay (#115655) ink, Vintage Labels (SAB) Stamp Set (#118392-wood, #119122-clear)

Valentine Shaker Card

First of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! This is my Valentine Card for all of you to say "thanks" and "I love you much". I really enjoy being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and YOU make it worth while.

For this card I used an idea given to us at Leadership last month. You take all of the little hearts left over from punching out card stock with the NEW Pinking Heart Border Punch (#117649) and place it in the NEW Heart Shaped Treat Cups (#120435) along with Chunky Glitter. (Isn't it funny how us crafters find a good use for our scraps too!)

Here you can see a close up of the Valentine shaker I made. I also added a couple of hearts punched out with the NEW Small Heart Punch (#117193) and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Other items used for this project include: Sending Love Specialty Paper (#117153), Real Red 1/2" Sending Love Epoxy Brads (#117270), Well Scripted Stamp Set (#117072-w OR #118601-c), Real Red Satin Ribbon (#117286), Full Heart Punch (#113693), Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (#102023), Chunky Essentials Red and White Glitter (#108797), Real Red Ink, Real Red CS, and Pretty in Pink CS.

My Heart Treat Card Tutorial

I love the Heart Treat Cups and wanted to use them during my recent team meeting. This is what we did using the NEW Sending Love Specialty Paper (#117153), NEW Well Scripted Stamp Set (#117072-$19.95 wood OR #118601-$14.95 clear), NEW Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die (#117332-$11.95), and the NEW Scallop Trim Border Punch that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase.

When you open this card you can remove the layered heart by pulling on the tab stamped "sweet treats" to reveal a 3/4" hole so you can get your treats. HINT: When adhering the heart use Dotto Adhesive so it will not tear your card.

Here are the instructions so you can give it a try...

1. Fold the 4 ¼” x 11” Very Vanilla CS in half to form a card

2. Punch a heart into the lower left side of the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Sending Love Designer Paper (make sure you get it close to the bottom edge—no more than ½” from bottom); set aside the heart to use later in this project.

3. Place (do not adhere) the piece of designer paper to the card front; punch a ¾” circle into the Very Vanilla CS card front in the heart area; remove the designer paper from card front

4. Add Real Red ribbon to the right side of the designer paper (make sure to adhere to the back of DP)

5. Remove the white protective strip from the heart treat cup and carefully apply the clear heart treat cup and designer paper to the card front (note the heart will be going over the ¾” hole)

6. Stamp the “Love You Much” image onto scrap Very Vanilla CS; punch out with the Wide Oval Punch; apply to card front

7. Punch the edge on one side of each piece of 4 ¼” x 1” Real Red CS piece using the Scallop Trim Border Punch; adhere to the left and right sides of the card front.

8. Place the heart piece punched out from the designer paper onto the Pretty in Pink Scalloped Heart.

9. Stamp “Sweet Treats” onto scrap Pretty in Pink CS using Real Red ink; punch out using the Modern Label Punch; adhere to the scalloped heart piece.

10. Insert your desired candies into the ¾” hole

11. Place Dotto adhesive on the scalloped heart layered piece and place over the ¾” circle. (This allows the recipient to get to the treats without destroying the card.

Items used for this project include: Very Vanilla, Real Red, Pretty in Pink CS, Real Red Classic Ink, Real Red Dotted Dot Ribbon (#115608) (back)
Wide Oval (112082), Full Heart (#113693), ¾” Circle (#107217), Modern Label (#116630), Scallop Trim Border (#118402) Punches, Well Scripted (#118601-c) & Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370) Stamp Set, Sending Love Designer Paper (#117153), Heart Treat Cups (#120435), Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die (#117332), Big Shot (#113439), Dotto Adhesive (#103305)

Thanks for stopping by. Remember you can receive emails when I post to my blog...just register your email address in the box located at the top right.
